About Us

From a lifelong passion for fashion and creating my own clothes emerged a promise: if my designs received enough praise, I would venture into making for others. Dearest Demi was born shortly after my son’s arrival, a symbol of newfound courage. My affinity for thrift shopping led me to discover an abundance of fabrics waiting to be repurposed. With each unique find, my imagination ran wild. 

Together with a dear friend, we embarked on the Tauranga Little Big Markets, igniting our passion projects and spreading our names. Guided by the fabric itself, my creative process flows freely, devoid of strict plans. Sewing is an adventure where initial ideas often veer into unexpected territories a thrilling aspect I cherish.

The scarcity of thrifted fabric fuels my ingenuity with limited resources, creativity becomes paramount.
